Journey
Arrival via Muskat Airport (MCT), which is served daily from several German airports. Direct flights are available with the Oman Air from Munich and Frankfurt. Flight time approx. 6.5 hours. Muscat Airport is about a 45-minute drive away. The old town of Muscat can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
Note:
A visa is required to enter Oman.
Price: 20 OMR (about 50 EUR), valid for 4 weeks, renewable for 8 weeks against payment of another 20 OMR. The mandatory application for an online visa for entries from 21.03.2018 was canceled on 12 March.
Important: The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the journey.
