The very cozy dive center is located directly on the hotel beach of the Swiss Inn Resort. The diver can expect a wide range of possibilities to discover the underwater world. After diving, you can relax in a traditional seating area and let the experiences of the day pass again.
Egypt / Extra Divers Dahab
Since a deep ditch runs between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, there is a lack of offshore reefs, so Dahab's fringing reefs are traditionally dipped from the land. We drive twice a day by jeep to various dive sites, where snorkelers can of course take along to explore the reefs.
The most remote dive sites can be reached within a maximum of 30 - 35 minutes. These include world-famous dive sites such as the "Blue Hole" and the "Canyon". Early morning dives and night dives are also recommended.
1-2 times a week boat trips are offered to the dive sites around Gabr El Bint.
A special highlight is the camel dive safari to almost untouched dive sites in the northern nature reserve Ras Abu Galum. The loneliness of the camel ride on the dawning daylight along the coast is a unique experience.
Just as diving and feasting in Nuweiba, an extraordinary day trip with 2 unforgettable dives and a subsequent "slow cooking" feast in the "Castle Zaman". Special trips to Sharm El Sheikh to the famous dive sites of the Ras Mohamed National Park, the Strait of Tiran and the Thistlegorm wreck are spectacular day trips and can be arranged upon request.
Team & Education
The dive center is managed by Silvia Martin and René Clauberg. Training and courses are according to SSI guidelines, possible from Open Water Diver to Instructor. All SSI specialty courses, including sidemount diving, are offered. Even children over the age of 10 can start their diving education here. The team speaks German, English and French. Highlights & Specials
The nature reserve Ras Abu Galum is located north of Dahab and can only be reached by car via large detours. That's why we offer you an unforgettable adventure that can only be found in Dahab:
We take you with the camel to the little dive sites of Ras Abu Galum. Shallow coral gardens offer a beautiful underwater landscape with countless reef perches and glass fish blocks. Here one likes to meet big Napoleons, blue spotted stingrays and loggerhead turtles.
As in ancient times, we ride comfortably with our diving gear along the sea towards Ras Abu Galum. Arrived, we settle down in a Bedouin hut, where a welcome tea awaits us. From here, two unforgettable dives are made. For lunch, the Bedouins cook a great meal and tea is served before retiring on the camels back to Dahab. A "must" for those who want to experience something special. Also possible are camel safaris over two days.
Diving and feasting in Nuweiba
Nuweiba, a small sleepy town about 70 km north of Dahab is approached by an air-conditioned minibus to explore the famous dive sites "buoy" and "pipelines". Many soft corals and rare marine creatures such as frogfish, snipe knife fish and countless scorpionfish make every diver's heart beat faster.
Continue to "Castle Zaman", a beautiful reconstructed "castle" with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Gulf of Aqaba to Saudi Arabia. In this peaceful ambience, divers can unwind by the pool and enjoy the view over a cocktail.
A culinary highlight is the "slow cooking" kitchen. Over several hours delicious meat and fish dishes prepared according to Egyptian recipes and ancient cooking method with vegetables, dates and figs in large clay pots.
