Welcomed by sharks
Since 01.03. Frank Fähland took over the management of Extra Divers Ghalib.
Since 1991 he dived the Andaman Sea, Atlantic, Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and –of course - Germany. In 1998, Frank was the first time in Egypt and his passion for the Red Sea drifted him no for longer there:
Despite the many dives he made in "his" water, he remains an avid scuba diver, Frank provides his enthusiasm to his guests and students, always happy to show them his world!
The term “house reef” is not always seen positively. At Extra Divers Port Ghalib, this is something completely different: The house reef is about 2km long, providing a steep wall with beautiful formations and always good for a surprising encounter. However, at present not only a great Napoleon arouses the interest of our divers on site: These days, you may catch a glimpse at sharks during a relaxed early morning dive in the house reef or the nearby Koraffi reef, where white tip sharks are dragging their laps, peacefully!
The great house reef seems to be the hotspot at the moment and to watch the morning exercise of sharks remains simply breathtaking: a visit to the Extra Divers Port Ghalib should therefore be taken quickly! Frank, his team and "their " sharks look forward to welcome you!
