Dear Guests, we would like to inform you that our resort in Halmahera – Nabucco Spice Island and Extra Divers Spice Island – has been permanently closed since mid-January 2026.
This decision was not made lightly, as we have a deep love for diving in this region. Our management team has always taken excellent care of the resort, and guest reviews were consistently outstanding. A key factor in the closure is the local weather conditions. With the increasing frequency of extreme weather events, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain the resort’s operations at the high standard our guests expect.
We will, however, remain present in Indonesia – on the Gili Islands, in Bali, and at our three resorts in the Maratua Atoll.
