Extra Divers Dahab

Dahab’s extensive fringing reef stretches for kilometres along the coast, offering 25 dive sites suitable for all levels of divers. It is particularly known for its shore dives and world-famous sites like the Blue Hole and the Canyon. Most dives are conducted via pickup, and after a day in the water, divers can relax in the comfortable seating area at the base, sharing the day’s experiences over a cold drink during a thorough debrief.
Extra Divers Dahab organises two daily dive trips to various nearby sites, with journey times ranging from 5 to 35 minutes.

Snorkellers are also welcome to join, making this a great choice for mixed groups. The local dive sites vary widely, from drop-offs like the Blue Hole to narrow canyons, intriguing caves, and shallow coral gardens. Most sites slope gently into deeper waters, providing options for both beginners and more experienced divers.

For those looking for something special, Early Morning Dives and Night Dives are also available. Once or twice a week, full-day boat trips head to the stunning reefs around Gabr El Bint, where you’ll find rugged walls, gorgonian forests, and the chance to encounter turtles, Napoleon wrasse, and milkfish. With a bit of luck, the boat might even be joined by a playful pod of dolphins.

Important Medical Note for Diving in Dahab:
A dive medical certificate is preferred. However, a self-declaration form, completed entirely with “No” responses, is accepted for divers up to 45 years old. Medical checks can also be arranged locally for approximately € 10.
