Sensational New Year's trip with Oman Explorer
The south tours of our liveaboard Oman Explorer offer some fantastic highlights to our safari ship guests.
In addition to mantas and mobulas, which are currently bustling in the area around the Hallaniyat Islands, the City of Winchester could be visited for the first time on the New Year's trip.
The City of Winchester, which sunk in First World War, had been in a deep sleep for the past few years and was not allowed to be dived.
After long negotiations, the Omani government has changed this regulation and that exclusively and only for the guests of our Oman Explorer.
So our guests could look forward to numerous schools of fish on the wreck, schools of barracudas and bat fish as well as fat groupers. In addition, two humpback whales were spotted near the wreck for a long time.
But that's not all: on the crossing to the dive sites, several sperm whales could be admired.
Have a look: There will be some great trade fair specials for the Oman Explorer soon!
