Makadi Bay - the Grand Dame in a new Garment
It was discussed at length, with much passion and a solution was intensely sought; ultimately the decision was difficult, but was exactly right for a brighter future:
Extra Divers Makadi Bay moves to the neighboring Cleopatra Luxury Resort!
After more than 17 successful years in the old center, we believe this change to be a step towards improved service in a perfect location!
We are looking forward to welcome you in Cleopatra Resort from November 15th, 2015!
Our dive center in Madinat Makadi will be shut down by November 27th, 2015, of course any prebooked packages will be accepted in our new dive center.
It is only a few minutes walk along the beach to reach the newly styled rooms of the diving center, but the differences are quickly recognizable! The center has been newly renovated for us and has every convenience, from a private new house reef with bottle service up to multimedia training in modern, air-conditioned rooms!
Of course, our well-known service remains unchanged and offers diving to suit all tastes. From early morning dives for early risers or late riser dives at noon, we offer the complete range: sunset, night, nitrox, solo, side-mount diving in short, half-day and full-day tours or right on the reef! Wreck tours or drop-offs, scooter or boat transfer within the bay; we leave no stone unturned to bring you our region and the offshore places a little closer!
The training, including all specials from beginner to instructor, of course remain an integral part of our offer. Even non-divers are welcome to join us! They could go together with the divers on the boats or on a snorkeling only trip—our popular dolphin tour for example.
Starting the first of January 2016, we additional open the water sports center at the 5 star Cleopatra Luxury Resort.
The 5 star Cleopatra Luxury Resort in Makadi Bay offers 530 rooms, and all desired amenities of accommodation, including a large, extensive private sandy beach. Tennis, thalassotherapy, fitness, disco or nightclub—everything has been thought of! Various restaurants offer from high quality, extensive buffets up to a la carte; in other words, restaurants for all tastes. The "Divers Bar" is located right next to our center and with its beautiful view of the bay, will be the heart of "diver's Latin", of this we are certain!
In October, the 5 star Cleopatra Luxury Resort has opened a hotel-in-a-hotel, called "Cleopatra Beach". This new hotel-in-a-hotel is intended for adults only and is right next to the dive center.
Of course, our shuttle service will remain and we will pick up the guests from other hotels in Makadi Bay for free! The hotels in the Madinat Makadi are at a comfortable distance of 3-10 walking minutes.
We can therefore proudly announce that we have used this transition to go from a good location to an even better one! Extra Divers Makadi Bay in a new outfit: sounds promising, yes?
We are really looking forward to our known and new guests with whom we will continue the long history of "Extra Divers Makadi Bay" in a contemporary setting and a warm atmosphere!
