Big clean up-event in Dahab: clean up Dahab - We love Dahab
On the 5th of January 2016 about 45 people from more than 10 nations, living and working in Dahab, as well as some tourists met to a large clean up in the south of Dahab.
Under the motto "We prepare for your return" we wanted to put in a sign that the people in Dahab stand together and to show what has Dahab has to offer.
Also on board were Sea Shepherd from Sharm el-Sheikh and videographer Fabio, 5 diving centers and freediving centers, CDWS as a sponsor of many garbage bags, as well as foreigners living in Dahab, tourists, Egyptians and Bedouins, who have supported us.
About 250 large garbage bags were filled within 2 hours!
Ralphs German Bakery took care for our physical well with buttered pretzels, baguette sandwiches and delicious sweets, Camel Restaurant offered beverages of all kinds at the dive site Moray Garden.
The day was complemented by a BBQ in the desert, sponsored by hotels (Swiss Inn, Ganet Sinai) and restaurants in Dahab (Alibaba).
