It takes about an hour by hire car or pre-booked transfer to get from Malta International Airport to the ferry terminal at Cirkewwa in the north of Malta. From there you take the ferry to Gozo. The picturesque crossing to Mġarr Harbour takes 25 minutes. Ferry departures are frequent – every 45 minutes during the day and every 90 minutes at night (subject to change). The ferry service takes foot passengers and cars. You can opt for a direct transfer by taxi or hotel shuttle, or hire a car at the airport and make your own way to Gozo. The transfer time from the ferry terminal at Gozo to the Grand Hotel is around 5 minutes.
